"When life gives you lemons".
Now to elaborate on our post's Title.
This engagement photo session of this cute couple Narisa & Steve was supposed to take place at "The Pines-Knullebu".
It's a lovely scenic location we normally photograph at. It's located at the top of a hill & has a gorgeous view.
You can check them out on Facebook at: "The Pines-Knullebu".
We arrived at the location on time around 4:20pm and proceeded to drive up to the top of the hill where the location is located.
Unfotunately we got stuck on the way up as the vehicle could not get proper traction at times.
Rather than risk the saftey of ourselves & the couple we decided to head back down into P.O.S. & do the shoot at a park.
However when entering into P.O.S. we encountered a lot of traffic, the time was approx 5:15pm & we knew the lovely light we had was going to disappear quickly. At this point we decided to see if the authorities at N.A.P.A would let us use the location for a couple pictures.
After speaking with a very understanding gentleman he gave us permission to photograph at the location.
We quickly got our stuff together & first went to the park just opposite to N.A.P.A's entrance to get some images.
The couple brought along some props to use & we got some great images with them at the park.
At this time we headed over to N.A.P.A. it was approx 5:56pm.
We started photographing at ISO 2000 (For the photographers) because of the diminishing light.
Things started well but soon enough the rain began to drizzle.
The couple being as cool as they are did not let the rain bother them even though they we're dressed to impress & Narisa had gotten her hair & make-up done especially for their photo shoot.
Rather than run and shelter, knowing we use weather resistant equipment & it was our duty to make sure we provied the best imagery we could for our couple, we braved the rain.
Coming into the last 10 minutes or so of the shoot approx 6:20pm our cameras we're at ISO 6400 (For the photographers) simply to be able to shoot at near darkness.
The images in this post goes to show that even though life might give you lemons, you can still make the best of it.
Kudos to Narisa & Steve for ROCKING!!! this photo shoot, we could not have done it without your co-operation
(Also goes to show why professional photographers call themselves "Professional".
We can problem-solve & have the ingenuity & equipment to still deliver beautiful imagery).
Lisa & Safraz.
